Founded by Emad Sleimann, a successful engineer with a passion for breaking down barriers and empowering others, our initiative aims to provide refugees with the tools, guidance, and mentorship they need to succeed in their chosen fields.
Nahda began with Emad’s personal journey from Lebanon to Germany in pursuit of a career.
Along the way, Emad encountered troubling stereotypes and misconceptions about Lebanese people, particularly in business and trade. Determined to challenge these stereotypes and make a positive impact, Emad integrated into the German community and established themselves as a successful engineer.
Deeply affected by the plight of refugees, Emad was inspired to create a mentorship program to help refugees overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
Recognizing the need for guidance and support, Emad is seeking mentors who are willing to join the cause and offer their expertise to refugees as they navigate their journey towards success and integration.
We envision a world where refugees are empowered to build better lives for themselves, free from the constraints of negative stereotypes and prejudices.
By sharing our own experiences and connecting refugees with mentors who are committed to their success, we believe we can make a meaningful impact and create lasting change.
